I recently brought this jacket with me on a week-long trip to England and Switzerland in the fall.
Pros:
-It is incredibly cozy for air travel. Like wearing a cute blanket.
-Since it is wool, it is quite warm. Great for chilly days.
-Sleevies! So cute. So comfy.
-EFFORTLESSLY STYLISH!
Neutral (But I think a buyer should know):
-It is bulky to carry around. (Doesn't pack down much.) Really only matters for travel.
-This jacket is not really wind proof. I say this is a neutral because it wasn't advertised to be wind proof.
-I thought that this jacket was double lined the entire way through. It is not- only the hood. I am sensitive to wool, so it is itchy unless I wear a long sleeve underneath it, and even then, it itches me a little bit. Again, this is not a complaint, but just a note for people who may be sensitive. This is likely not the case with other jackets that Hands of Harlow sells- it is specific to the fabric that the Scotty Wrap Jacket is made out of.
Suggested improvements:
-I would have liked an option to pay for double lining all the way through. I think that would both add to wind-proofness as well as ameliorate contact with wool fabric.
-I love the pockets, but they kind of stick out the bottom when you put your hands in. A suggestion I have for Hands of Harlow is to affix the pockets to the bottom material of the coat. I think they could iterate on this design and end up with something that is equally functional but looks a little better. If double lining were an option, the pocket could be sandwiched between the two materials, and would completely eliminate this problem.
Final verdict:
I would buy from Hands of Harlow again and I have suggested this brand to friends. I love my Scotty Wrap jacket!
I love my Scotty! I'm so excited for the weather to cool down, so I can live in it lol.
I'm also very appreciative of their responsiveness to adding pockets - I didn't see the option in checkout, but left a note, and they were added with no issue!
Absolute perfection! I adore it and cannot wait to wear it to the office next week, but for now Im swanning around the house looking spectacular and feeling fancy!

The scotty wrap is gorgeous and exceeded all my expectations, to the point that I've already ordered another for my birthday. Lol It looked even better in person than in the pictures and the construction of the garment is top notch.
Have this one and it’s perfect. I’m not a “jacket” person. And love I can easily throw this one and be set. It’s good for a fall crisp day. Waiting to see how it is in winter. But it is definitely warm and cozy. added the pockets in the order and happy I did. Love it ❤️
